Best Areas to Rent Apartments in Scottsdale

Best Areas to Rent Apartments in ScottsdaleIf you are looking for Scottsdale apartments for rent, you first need to decide which area of the city you want to live in. Each area has its own good and bad points and each area is not going to be the best for everyone.

One area of Scottsdale that is on its way up is South Scottsdale. While this was once a primarily working class area, it is growing in a major way and will only get better with time. For that reason, you may be able to get a great deal on Scottsdale apartments in the area. The other benefit of this area is that there is a big nightlife environment with lots of bars and clubs, as well as being the major art center of Scottsdale.

Another great area is North Scottsdale. This is an expensive area of the city, but it is convenient to those who work at the Scottsdale Airpark. It is one of the largest areas for employment in the state, with more than 55,000 employees working there for such companies as DHL and Vanguard. If you work for one of the companies there, it would be great because you do not have to commute very far.

The downtown area of Scottsdale is called Old Town. Like South Scottsdale, this area is improving. It still seems to be stuck a bit in the old cowboy era, but is undergoing a revival. Part of that is a large shopping mall in this part of town that brings in a lot of shoppers and workers. If you are a big fan of shopping or have teenagers who like to take frequent trips to the mall, this might be a good area to live in.

The Central Scottsdale area is also called Shea Corridor. This is where you will find a lot of the resorts that celebrities and the elite flock to. It is really what Scottsdale is known most for throughout the country. Of course, it is not just resorts in the area and there are plenty of apartment communities to live in. Obviously, this is a great part of town if it is where the resorts are located. Some of the places you will find there are Gainey Ranch and McCormick Ranch.

The decision of which area of Scottsdale to rent in should be a combination of several factors. First, you need to think about where you want to live in relation to your workplace. Do you want to be able to walk to work? Do you mind a long commute? Also think about how you spend your free time. If you love strolling through art galleries, you would pick a different part of town than if you like to get Swedish massages each week. Keep in mind that all of Scottsdale is wonderful and you really cannot go wrong. It is nicknamed the “desert version of South Beach” for a reason. Just take your time and make the best decision for you and your family, and you will love your new Scottsdale apartment.
